Meeting and talking with winemakers and the world’s leading winegrowers, and tasting hard-to-find wines are just some of the main attractions of the Grand Tour 2016, an encounter organized by the prestigious US magazine, Wine Spectator.
This year’s Tour ran from 26 to 30 April, visiting the cities of New York, Washington and Las Vegas. The event is one of the leading wine fairs in the United States, bringing together more than 200 wineries from across the globe to showcase wines that have earned scores of 90 points or more in the organizer’s publication.
Chile was present at the encounter with a select group of wines from more than 10 Chilean wineries that have earned the highest scores from Wine Spectator.
Viña Ventisquero was one of the wineries chosen to participate in the Grand Tour 2016, and brought along the 2010 vintage of Enclave Cabernet Sauvignon, an elegant wine from Maipo Alto that is influenced by the Andes Mountains and the Maipo River. Ventisquero’s Head Winemaker Felipe Tosso was on hand at this important event to introduce the wine.
