Last Thursday, 6 June, Viña Ventisquero travelled to New York to be present as one of the lead wineries in the Descorchados NY 2017 tasting.
The event, organized by Chilean wine critic, Patricio Tapia, author of the Chilean wine guide Descorchados, accompanied by Joshua Greene, editor of Wine & Spirits Magazine- consisted of a seminar on the País variety, which is also known as Criolla.
Felipe Tosso, head winemaker at Viña Ventisquero, presented Ventisquero Reserva País Moscatel 2015, one of the eight wines showcased at the event. Later, during an open tasting of Chilean, Argentine and Uruguayan wines, the winery presented Tara White 1 2014, Grey GCM 2016 and Vértice 2013.
Viña Ventisquero also showcased a selection of its finest wines to the specialist public and consumers at the successful launch event for the Descorchados guide in Canada.
