Viña Ventisquero joins global campaign that seeks to raise awareness about breast cancer with its Reserva Carmenere wineOctober, 1 2019

For the third year, Viña Ventisquero joins the “Pink October” World Campaign in Chile with a limited edition of Ventisquero Reserva Carménère that will be marketed during that month with a pink lid.

The goal of this worldwide campaign that began in the United States in 1990 is to alert women to the importance of having regular imaging exams (mammograms and breast ecotomographs).

Through the campaign, Viña Ventisquero seeks to raise awareness about the importance of the diagnosis of breast cancer in its initial phase.

Early detection makes it possible to deal with this disease in a better way, and considerably reduce the mortality of this disease, which represents the leading cause of death from cancer in Chilean women.

Specifically, the Vineyard will provide an economic contribution to the FEMPO Foundation (Aesthetic Foundation and Paramedical and Oncological Micropigmentation Foundation) who grant a free social program "Just for your smile" that seeks to recover security and self-esteem of women who have gone through breast cancer.

Ventisquero has participated several times in this campaign that has been held in Brazil since 2015 with the same wine and will be completed this 2019 for the third year in Chile.
